After successfully trading for a decade, Briefcase Consulting Limited has been placed into members’ voluntary liquidation, which is the process for closing solvent companies. A huge thanks to all clients and colleagues who have contributed to its success over the years.

Kevin remains active in the Balanced Scorecard arena and published in October 2011 a Special Report on Balanced Scorecard through the Finance and Management Faculty, part of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. An interview on the success factors is available on the left.

Briefcase Consulting Limited (BCL) is a niche consultancy specialising in performance management and in transforming finance. It has a financial services focus but the tools and techniques are transportable to other industries.

It provides pragmatic, results orientated services, either through consultancy or through interim management. It has already provided a range of assignments to banks, insurance companies and other organisations with very successful results.

Performance management means helping organisations implement their chosen strategies through effective management information systems supported by appropriate processes and high quality analysis. BCL specialises in going rapidly from a conceptual design to sustainable pragmatic solutions that make a real difference to the organisation.

Assignments are delivered in conjunction with client staff. Additional consultants can be obtained by BCL through a range of existing partners to fit client needs. BCL has carried out a variety of interim management assignments including acting as CFO for Life Assurance companies in the UK.
